The gym here is great. It’s on the 5th floor and it looks like just another hotel room from the outside (but the door has a glass). You use your keycard to get in. It’s 24/7, they have water, every free weight you could need, a bench, 2 treadmills, elliptical, exercise ball, bike, yoga matts, cable machine, etc. The only downside is that it had a lot of activity, every 30 min or so a new person would walk in. It’s too small to handle more than 2 people comfortably so I cut my workout short.
I wouldn't call this a gym. It has: A water dispenser, one treadmill, one elliptical trainer, one rowing machine (cardio), a spin bike, a stability ball, a pair of 3kg dumbells and a cable station (with no bench so many exercises can't be done). The accesiores to the cable station are: Rope, 2 d-handles, one broken d-handle and a straight bar that hooks on the sides not the middle. The max weight stack on one pulley is less than 50kg. The only "gym" part is the cable machine with a pull up bar. The cardio machines are useless because the hotel is right beside the sea so it's better to just go run there and admire the view with fresh air. Its cleaned daily, but it closes after 11pm even though the entrance is unlocked by the room card. There's a real gym a 10 minute walk from here but buying a monthly pass seems like a waste of money. If you can organize your workout to these machines go for it, but i had a hard time doing that. The only plus is the lack of people.
The gym located in the basement. It’s got all the weights a person could need: towels, water, elliptical, bike, treadmill, TV, smith machine, etc. The only cons are (1) you have to turn on the wall AC and wait for it to cool down and (2) it’s in the basement so I worry about bugs - although I didn’t see any while down there.
